At motorsports highest levels the greatest drivers usually find their way to Ferrari. Not every top driver, for sure, but usually. From the 1950's, '60's and '70's Ferrari racing cars and drivers largely wrote the history of achievement in motorsport. In Formula One the troubled 1980's and '90's led to a long period without a Ferrari Champion, not for want of trying, before the resurgence and dominance of the next twenty years!
